Description

The Master Value Sets Catalogue (MVC) to be used by Ireland in the deployment of the Irish Open NCP Patient Summary and ePrescription Use Cases. Held and maintained by the HSE’s Office of the Chief Information Officer.

Coverage

The MVC is a collection of terms, used within certain parts of the Patient Summary and ePrescription documents (either parts describing the patient demographics or the clinical problems, for example), based on standardised code systems such as ICD-10, SNOMED CT, ATC Classification, EDQM Standard Terms, or UCUM.
