Data sources holding records for the Libraries Development. Details of applications for grants from the Public Libraries sector and also the Local Government Management Agency.

The library development and archive service supports the delivery of the public library service, including development of infrastructure (buildings) and initiatives under the public libraries strategy Our Public Libraries 2022: Inspiring, Connecting and Empowering Communities (2018-2022 communities). Most funding is used to upgrade facilities, meeting rooms, and provide new technologies in libraries. It also provides a 50% contribution towards the costs of leasing public library buildings, and costs to remunerate authors for loans of their books.
