Description

Stores identifiers and metadata relating to health and Social Care locations, practitioners, organisations and services in Ireland. To provide common data codes to allow for the integration of systems, at both the technical and business layer, across the HSE and the wider Irish Health Sector Held and maintained by the HSE’s Office of the Chief Information Officer.

Coverage

National Coverage. The Health Directory has been expanded to support the ongoing Covid19 Testing, Tracing and Outbreak Management by maintaining data and unique IDs for non Health and Social care settings. This additional information is strictly for internal C19 usage and limited to the duration of the Covid 19 pandemic.
