Data on all deaths registered with the General Register Office from Dec 1980 onwards. The system allows approved Public Service Bodies to gain access to data on all deaths registered with the General Register Office.

The General Register Office agrees to provide the following data to the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform. • Publication date • Date of Death • Forenames • Surname • Date of Birth • PPSN • Gender • Civil Status • Address • County • Country The following metadata is also included: • Date of transaction The data, outlined above, is provided to the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform for the sole purpose of operating the Death Events system, outlined above.
